The client wanted to convert their old dining room into a modern bar. Before the dining room was very traditional and not used much

We cleared things out to prepare

Removed the wallpaper and put up thin plywood for the distressed wood

Put up and example of the distressed wood for the cient

Staggered and let the distressed wood stick out for a 3D effect

The distressed wood was done offsite

Speakers and new outlets were added for TV, etc

Wine racks were added

Galvanized pipes were used for shelving

Construction for the bar was started, the bar never is physically attached to any wall, to make removal easy if the client wants it removed

Butcher block was chosen as the top of the bar

The butcher block was routed and sanded, partial coat of finish added

A bartender area was added with the leftover butcher block

Weathered wood was added to lower bar wall

Quartz stone was added to lower bar as well

More quartz added

Storage shelving was added to bartender area

Under bar led lighting was installed

Overhead ceiling led lighting was installed
