Kitchen Cabinet Overhaul
The original cabinets were custom (maple wood), then painted with a faux Rustoleum combo to make the original wood look, well like wood. Painting over the existing faux was an option but it would have not lasted, nor looked good, so a full strip, sand and paint was needed.
All cabinet faces and drawers had to be removed, and paint stripper was applied
All excess paint had to be manually scraped off
Cabinets inside the kitchen had the same treatment, stripped and paint stripped off
After the paint is stripped, the cabinets must be sanded to remove any residue and imperfections
A primer was then applied to allow the final coat to stick better
The drawers were also re-built and re-inforced and soft glide slides were installed
The soft glide slides were heavy duty and smooth
Final coat was applied along with new hardware
New trim was cut to lengths, primed and painted
